The Titans could sign a 1,000-yard receiver to support Cam Ward this offseason!

The Tennessee Titans will wrap up their 2025 season on Sunday, as the team will travel to EverBank Stadium to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18.
It’s been a rough season for Tennessee, but Mike McCoy’s squad has shown a ton of promise over the last few weeks, especially rookie quarterback Cam Ward.
Ward has gotten better and better as the season has gone on, showing that he has franchise quarterback potential. However, Ward is never going to reach his full potential if the Titans don’t upgrade his set of pass-catchers.
With Calvin Ridley likely out the door this spring, as Tennessee could save up to $18.7 million by moving on from the veteran, the Titans have a glaring need at receiver.
That said, Tennessee could support its young signal-caller by signing a 1,000-yard wide receiver in free agency this offseason.

Titans predicted to sign Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson in 2026 free agency
FanSided’s Cody Williams predicts the Titans will go the free agency route to address wide receiver and sign New York Giants receiver Wan’Dale Robinson.
Robinson has had a breakout 2025 campaign, tallying 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns. The Kentucky product and college teammate of Will Levis possesses game-breaking speed and would be an explosive target for Ward.
Though Robinson is entering free agency off his best season and would be an exciting add for Tennessee, he is primarily a slot receiver and wouldn’t give the Titans a No. 1 X receiver. Elic Ayomanor could develop into the Titans’ long-term X, but only time will tell.
If Tennessee signs Robinson, receiver would still be a need, but no longer a pressing one. Spotrac projects the Giants playmaker to land a contract worth around $15 million annually. The Titans are projected to have over $100 million in cap space this offseason, so they could definitely afford Robinson.
Overall, Robinson should be a target of general manager Mike Borgonzi, but he wouldn’t fix the Titans wide receiver room completely. Tennessee should still look to use an early draft pick on a pass-catcher, even if they land Robinson, and set Ward up for the best possible chance for success in 2026.
